| OpenWBEM Access |
Apple Remote Desktop (ARD)clients can respond to WBEM (Web-Based Enterprise Management) tools that request data from client computers. WBEM is an emerging network protocol standard for desktop computer management. WBEM relies on HTTP and XML to offer a web-based approach for exchanging CIM (Common Information Model) data.
For further information about WBEM, see http://www.dmtf.org.
ARD uses OpenWBEM as a basis for its WBEM implementation.
